NU Bügel

Sandwiched between heavily graffitied and worn down buildings on Augusta in Kensington Market, NU Bügel stands out, well because it looks so new.  Inside, market hipsters enjoy freshly wood fired bagels and coffee (free refills!) recovering from the night before.  Six different kinds of bagels are offered (plain, poppy, sesame, onion, everything and twister) but run low as the day goes on.  You can keep things simple with just cream cheese or get toppings like lox, roast beef, salty corned beef, smoked chicken or tuna (more options available as well. Plus soups and salads).

It's important to note these bagels are similar to montreal style (sweeter, denser and not salty), which is all good in our books.  Closed Mondays.
