Fat Pasha

Anthony Rose and Chris Sanderson's 'Dupont Holy Trinity' is now complete with this past weekends opening of their third restaurant on the street.

First came the comfort food kingdom Rose and Sons, then the backyard BBQ joint Big Crow and now just a few blocks west Fat Pasha. Taking over the former Indian Rice Factory, the restaurant is a mix of Middle Eastern Israeli and European Jewish cuisine with everything from lamb shoulder hummus, schmaltz fried rice and latkas to tender shawarma and lamb, beef and tongue kebabs.  Other dishes burst with colour (and flavour) like the daily salatim and the whole roasted cauliflower head with tahini, pine nut, pomegranant and halloumi.
And we can't forget the manischewitz.  Empty bottles are used for water as the sweet wine is turned into jelly and drizzled on top of the three halvahs ice cream sundae.

Fat Pasha seats about 50 inside but a large back patio is set to open later this spring.  They serve dinner seven days a week.
