If you're looking for a high-end, upscale, expensive Japanese restaurant, Blowfish is it. And they have good reason to be - because Blowfish is definitely not your average sushi joint. The dishes are unique and inventive. The best thing on the menu, by far, is the blowfish giant ebi shooter. Everyone at the table needs to order their own.

Also enjoyed the crab, shrimp & scallop spring roll and the lobster dumplings. When it comes to the sushi rolls, they get crazy. There's an arugula beet roll, orange & black roll (salmon, mango, avocado, orange and black tobiko) coconut bay roll (battered shrimp, cucumber, frizee, spicy kewpie), chicken kara-age roll (lightly battered chicken breast, avocado, lettuce, red tobiko, mango, strawberry kewpie) and the list goes on. I'm not the biggest sushi fan but they do great stuff with fruit and mixing different flavours that just makes me want to order and order.

Blowfish is a perfect place to go on a birthday, anniversary or special celebration when you want to spend a little extra on a delicious dinner.
